Terms of use

Short and in plain English: what Piligrim does, what you promise us, and what you can expect during the beta.

Beta terms, last updated 1 November 2026. Piligrim is in beta. These terms may change as the service grows; if they change in an important way, we will tell you by email or in the app.

What Piligrim does

You upload your own video and a logo. Piligrim finds the object you point at (a car, clothing, a box, a wall and so on) and prints the logo onto it, so it moves with the object and looks printed. The result is made automatically by our software, including AI models.

By using Piligrim you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you use Piligrim for a company, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.

Your rights to the video and the logo

Each time you make a video, you confirm that:

  • you own the video, or have permission from its owner to use and change it, including permission from the people who can be recognised in it where that is needed;
  • the logo or trademark is your own brand, or you have written permission from its owner to use it this way;
  • using them with Piligrim does not break anyone else's rights (copyright, trademark, privacy or image rights).

You keep all rights to your video, your logo and your results. You give Piligrim permission to store and process them only to make your videos, run and check the service, and keep it safe.

Advertising rules, including betting and gambling

You alone are responsible for how and where you use the results, and for following the advertising laws and platform rules of every country where they are shown. This matters especially for gambling and sports-betting advertising, which is strictly regulated. In particular, it is your job to make sure that:

  • the brand you advertise holds the licences it needs in the places where the ad is shown;
  • the ad respects age rules: it is aimed only at adults (18+, or older where the law says so), does not appeal to minors, and does not show minors;
  • it is not shown in countries or regions where such advertising is banned or limited;
  • it is clearly marked as an advertisement where the law or the platform requires it, with any required warnings.

Piligrim does not check your ads for legal compliance and gives no legal advice.

What we may refuse or remove

We may refuse to process a video, hold back a result, or remove a video or an account, without giving a reason in advance, for example when:

  • the video shows minors in connection with gambling or other adult-only advertising;
  • the content is illegal, hateful, violent, sexual, or misleading;
  • it uses someone else's brand or video without permission, or we receive a credible complaint from a rights holder;
  • the service is being abused (for example automated sign-ups or attempts to get around the limits).

Piligrim Live, the Mac and Windows app

Piligrim Live puts your logo on your clothes and on the wall behind you, live, for streams and calls. We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it on your own computers with your Piligrim account, for as long as your account may use it. You may not pass this licence on to anyone. The app, its engine and everything inside it stay ours.

You may not:

  • copy, sell, rent, share or publish the app or any part of it, other than installing it on your own computers;
  • decompile, disassemble or otherwise reverse engineer the app, or try to get its source code or work out how its engine is built, except where the law allows this even though these terms say no;
  • change the app, take its parts out to run them on their own, or get around its sign-in, its version check or any other protection;
  • use the app, or what you learn from it, to build a product that competes with Piligrim.

We may switch the app off for an account that breaks these terms, and we may ask everyone to update to a newer version. The app needs to reach piligrim.dev at least once every 7 days.

Results are made by AI

Results are generated automatically and may contain errors: the logo may sit in the wrong place, slide, look different from your file, or be missing. Please check every result before you publish it.

During the beta, Piligrim is provided as is and as available, without any warranty. We may review results by hand before they are sent to you. As far as the law allows, Piligrim is not liable for indirect losses or for how you use the results.

The beta: free videos

During the beta every person gets 3 free videos. A video that fails on our side does not count. There are no payments in the beta. We may change or end the beta, and the limits, at any time.

Your account and deleting it

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to your email safe: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.

You can ask us to delete your account and all your videos, logos and results at any time by writing to hello@piligrim.dev from the email you sign in with.
